This lyrical, emotionally open work imagines the lost bond between Cain and Abel before violence and history intervened. Drawing on the Biblical story and expanding it with an original text, You Are My Brother explores the tenderness that may have once connected these archetypal siblings—one a shepherd, the other a farmer—whose vocations reflect contrasting relationships to the land, to permanence, and to care.
